Choose between two letters (A or B, this or that)
To choose fairly between exactly two letters, press A or B in the picker above. You get a true 50/50 pick instead of a guess. A–D works the same way for a multiple-choice answer (A, B, C or D), and the from/to menus let you set any range, like A to F.
Choose a letter for someone to guess (like a name game)
If you're running a guessing game, such as hangman or "guess the letter I'm thinking of", turn on secret mode in the picker. The letter stays hidden until you press Reveal, so players can guess first. This removes any unconscious bias toward "easy" or "hard" letters that a person might introduce if they pick manually.
Vowels only, consonants only, or a limited set
For harder or easier rounds, restrict the pool: vowels-only makes for a trickier word-game round, consonants-only is useful for phonics drills, and the exclude-letters field lets you rule out any specific letter your group tends to overuse.
