A small tool, built properly
Random Letter Press exists because most "random letter generator" tools stop at a single spinning wheel. We build the rest — words, phonetic call signs, teams, stats — for the people who actually use this every week.
Why we built this
Teachers running phonics drills, party hosts starting a word game, writers stuck on a name, and developers who just need a quick placeholder string all end up on the same kind of page — and most of those pages do one thing. We wanted a single tool that covers all four uses well instead of one use adequately.
What we actually optimize for
Three things, in order: the generator has to feel instant and fair (true unbiased randomness, no dark patterns, no fake "spinning" delay for its own sake), it has to work without an account or a paywall, and it has to stay legible on a classroom projector as easily as on a phone in someone's hand.
Who this is for
Teachers and tutors running phonics or spelling activities. Party hosts and game groups who need a fast, fair way to assign a letter. Writers and namers looking for a random seed to work from. Developers who want working code, not just an answer, for generating letters programmatically.
